Treaty 1 Territory Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that we are gathered on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We honour the deep relationships Indigenous Peoples have with this land — relationships that have existed since time immemorial.
