Stefanie’s Story

Watch on YouTube

"Debwewin gave me a safe place to land when I thought I had nowhere left to go. Connecting with Elders and participating in sweat lodge ceremonies helped me heal parts of my heart I had locked away for years."

Hope’s Story

"Here, I wasn't judged or treated like a number. I was welcomed as a relative. Reconnecting with the land and learning our traditional medicines gave me back my identity and self-worth."

Hope's journey reflects the power of culturally rooted trauma therapy and community care. Today she continues to walk strong in her recovery, mentoring newly admitted women and participating in community wellness events.

Mother Reunification

"Being able to restore my peace and stability here gave me the strength to bring my children home. The support from staff and Elders made all the difference."

Many of the women we support are mothers working toward reunification and repairing parts of life shaped by trauma and addiction. Here, they find a compassionate, non-judgmental home to restore stability, wellness, and connection.

— Program Resident

"Debwewin is the first step in coming home to themselves — safely, supported, and seen."

Whether you are ready to take your first step or supporting someone you love, hope and healing are waiting.

Treaty 1 Territory Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that we are gathered on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We honour the deep relationships Indigenous Peoples have with this land — relationships that have existed since time immemorial.
